There are more than 800 km of walking and hiking trails accessible on foot or by bike throughout the Portes du Soleil area during the summer.
The Swiss bike park has more than 300 km of marked trails suitable for bikes offering different degrees of difficulty located around Les Crosets. It is composed of 11 downhill tracks (DH) - including the mythical Champéry World Cup - accessible via 4 mountain bike lifts: the Champéry-Croix de Culet cable car, the Crosets chairlift, the Mossettes chairlift, as well as the Foilleuse chairlift located in Morgins.
On a larger scale, the Portes du Soleil area is a realm of mountain biking with 600 km of marked trails and 50 permanent downhill runs, accessible via 21 lifts equipped to transport mountain bikes with a single pass for all Portes du Soleil resorts located on both the French and Swiss sides.
In winter, cable cars and chairlifts take you from Champéry to the "Portes du Soleil" ski area, the world's largest linked international ski area. Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy 12 ski areas - 4 in Switzerland and 8 in France - equipped with 194 lifts and 650 km of pistes.
